2wice Arts Foundation
Patsy Tarr created the radical magazine Dance Ink in the late eighties, which evolved into 2wice, a visually compelling semi-annual publication, each issue of which focused on a single artist. Then being the restlessly imaginative and daring editor that she is, Patsy decided to turn 2wice into an app designed for the iPad. By using their fingertips to shift the sequence of events, eliminate, add and layer images, viewers are offered a chance to collaborate in the choreographic process. The experience is magical. Patsy’s innovations resulted in numerous The New York Times articles, Wall Street Journal coverage, pieces in Dance Magazine, among other publications.
