Thirteen year old Finn Duggan, a student at Ballet Academy East in New York City, is the subject of a segment of CBS TV’s new nationally broadcast, “Hidden Heroes,” which identifies teenagers who engage in unique activities, often ones that counter expectations and require an unconventional and brave spirit. The show airs in New York City on Channel 2 on Saturday mornings at 11. Check local listings for times across the United States.

Finn, who has studied at Ballet Academy East since he was nine years old, is an eighth grader at Saint David’s School in New York City. One of Ballet Academy East’s most gifted pupils, Finn is slated to perform the principal male role in Alan Hineline’s “de l’innocence,” a role originated by New York City Ballet principal Chase Finlay in 2003, when he was a student at BAE. “de l’innocence” will be performed as part of BAE’s February 18-20 concerts at Ailey Citigroup Theater.
